Silver
The Silver department at Claydon consistently performs strongly in our Antiques & Collectables auctions. Our sales include examples from the 16th, 17th, 18th & 19th centuries through to the 20th century and contemporary pieces.
The objects in our silver section range from, but are not limited to, salvers, dishes, vases, toast racks, gravy boats, cruet sets, pin cushions, photograph frames, silver plate items and a wide array of flatware. This department has also seen considerable success with Scottish provincial and Channel Island examples, as well as pieces by Art Deco designer H. G. Murphy, and contemporary designers such as Stuart Devlin, Gerald Benny and Jocelyn Burton to name but a few.
